Club Overview:

The Ohio Valley Force is a highly competitive premiere Basketball Club that includes teams for both boys and girls in grades four through eleven. The program is family oriented and stresses player development, the benefits of team play and sportsmanship.

The Ohio Valley Force is a non-profit organization and is operated solely by adult volunteers. It serves all areas of the entire Miami Valley and traditionally produces a highly successful  Basketball program.

During the last Spring / Summer basketball season the Ohio Valley Force teams won 13 tournament Championships and sent 16 teams to the AACC National Championships.

The Clubs goal is to develop each athlete into a top-notch varsity player for their High School program and possibly beyond.

 Season Overview:

The Ohio Valley Force season annually runs from the middle of March through the end of June, unless a given team qualifies for the AAU National Championships held in early July.

 Practices:

Each team will practice two times a week during the season.  Practices are usually Monday through Friday, from either 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM or 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, depending upon the grade of the team.  Every effort is made to arrange for the younger teams to practice during the earlier time slot.  Which nights a team practices is determined by numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the volunteer coachs schedule and gym availability.  Once set, the practices do not change for the entire season.

 Games:

The Ohio Valley Force is a very competitive basketball program and, accordingly, our teams play in the most competitive tournaments and leagues.

League play is all within the greater Dayton area.

Tournaments are usually held within a one hundred mile radius of the Greater Miami Valley, i.e., Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, and are handled as day trips.  However, there may be occasional overnight trips, at the players expense, to tournaments in places like Indianapolis or Ft Wayne Indiana, Lexington or Louisville Kentucky.

 Cost:

The fee per player is $495.00, with a possible fee reduction for returning players who still have a uniform in very good condition.

Club dues include three hours of practice a week, four tournaments, one  league, practice equipment, insurance, organization memberships, and a uniform (which the player keeps at the end of the season)

There are NO discounts or scholarships available, so every player must pay the entire fee. However, there are payment plans available at a very nominal processing charge.
